Saturday Drive to Lk Isabella SlideShow

As the weather heats up here in Bakersfield we think of more things to do, places to go out and about. Decided to do the loop to Lake Isabella through the Mojave and back to Bakersfield Saturday.

Went through a place called RedRocks which is the pic of the odd looking rock formations then went into a recreational area, mainly for thrillseeking dirt bike riders called JawBone. Entire families rode on 4 wheelers there in the desert leaving their campers and motorhomes behinbd for refuge later on.

Todays the beginning of the trim project on the house. From the first time we saw the home we agreed, the blue has to go! Luckily the entire house ins't blue. The light yellow, a yellow custard color is what we picked so using heavy duty primer to the tune of 3 coats maybe before painitng it.
The New Roof goes on starting May 17th...just in time to miss the visit of my Mom. Yay!
